14. How can I be sure my choice for a personalized message is available?
This site connects directly to the DMV database to allow your choice. However, because the database is only updated monthly, it’s possible your choice might have been taken. If so, the DMV will contact you. You can get a full refund, or simply submit another vanity plate choice. Remember, however, that ecoplates.com and the participating organizations cannot accept responsibility in the event your vanity plate choices are unavailable.
